What is coaching?

How long are coaching sessions?
Each coaching session is up to 50 minutes. This allows the coach to have a 10 minute break before the next scheduled session at the top of the hour.
What is a coaching session like?
A coaching session is either a phone or video call. The decision is yours. Each session has 3 stages: 1) setting the agenda for the session, 2) awareness around why that agenda is important, and 3) determining action steps to help you grow in your preaching.
Is coaching offered without sermon evaluations?
No, evaluation is a key component in the awareness stage of each coaching session. Coaching without sermon evaluations would devalue the coaching experience.
When can I expect my sermon evaluation?
Your sermon evaluation will be completed within one week of you submitting your sermon recording.
What is the start-up questionnaire?
This is a questionnaire that helps you discover what you want to get out of coaching. It will assist your coach in guiding you to accomplish your goals. This questionnaire seeks to assess where you are and where you want to go in your preaching.
What is a long-term growth plan?
In addition to the start-up questionnaire, the growth plan answers the questions, “How will I get from where I am to where I want to go?” and “What obstacles are in my way?”
